Solaris AdminSuite provides an integrated group of GUI-based tools for the system administrator. Wizards and dialog boxes provide assistance and direction for managing:
User Accounts: add user accounts one at a time or in multiples when users have shared properties, add users to groups and mailing lists, view and modify user properties, delete accounts.
Groups: create a group, add and remove group members, view and modify group properties, delete a group.
Mailing Lists: create a mailing list, add or remove email recipients, view or modify the mailing list properties, delete a mailing list.
Computers/Networks: view, define, and manage networks, subnetworks, and computers.
Mounts/Shares: mount and share directories, view and modify share and mount properties.
Serial Ports: configure existing serial ports for modems, alphanumeric terminals, and some other kinds of hardware, such as plotters.
Log Viewer: view and manage AdminSuite activities logs.
Single Server and Name Service Domains: manage resources on a single Solaris server or in a NIS or NIS+ domain to add, modify, or delete information through AdminSuite wizards and dialog boxes.
