Define a new network or subnetwork in the current management domain (single server or name service). When you define a new network or subnetwork, an entry is made for it in the networks and/or netmasks table.

Any network or subnetwork you define must have a valid class A, B, or C IP address. If you are uncertain about what address you should use, contact a system administrator.

In addition, if you plan to create subnetworks within this network, then you must specify a netmask here. If this is a subnetwork, or if this is a network in which you will not be creating any subnetworks, you can leave this field empty.
