Using Solaris Web Start on the Solaris 8 product CD.
Launching an installer using the Registry. See Installing Products From the Registry in Chapter 7 for step-by-step instructions.
Using the pkgadd command (for experienced UNIX administrators only.) See Installing Admin Pack Products Using the pkgadd Command in Appendix A for more information on available packages.
Be sure to install any recommended or required patches. Refer to the Solaris 8 Admin Pack Release Notes for patches you may need to install.
