It performs a variety of operations, including adding a new share (with optional non-encryption password), deleting a share, setting the banner page, and setting a queue start time. .SH OPTIONS .SS "-a [-e] [-i] filename" Adds a new share. The -e option means that password encryption is already active. The -i option with a file name reads information from a file. Otherwise, standard input is read. .SS "-b share" Sets the printer banner page. .SS "-d sharename" Deletes share name. .SS "-f sharename fldnumber" Gets a specific field from the share. .SS "-g share" Sets queue start time (go). .SS "-h share" Sets queue stop time (halt). .SS "-l" Lists share. .SS "-m share" Sets queue parameters. .SS -n Creates a new share list. .SS "-o sharename" Re-shares an unshared print queue. .SS "-p sharename" Modifies a printer command string. .SS "-q queuename" Lists printer shares. .SS "-r queuename" Sets printer preset sequence. .SS "-s queuename" Sets printer post-set sequence. .SS "-v queuename" Debugging on; if required must be first option. .SH EXAMPLES To add a new share, type the following command: .sp.5 lmshare -a .sp.5 To list shares, type the following command: .sp.5 lmshare -l .sp.5 To obtain a specific field from a share, for example field 2, type the following command: .sp.5 lmshare -f share 2
