HotJava found an obsolete set of localization files for the HotJava browser. This localization can cause HotJava to fail; in particular it cannot properly display HTML pages.
Due to this potential failure, HotJava has forced the default locale to English (en_US) to avoid using this localization. Note: Applets are also switched to the English locale.
As root, use the pkgrm
command to remove the appropriate
Solaris package. If a newer package is available it can be installed
via the pkgadd
command.
Once the obsolete localization package has been removed, HotJava will use the default locale setting
